Stinger Dragster

I never had any thoughts of owning a dragster but I stumbled upon this one for the right price and decided I'd regret it later if I passed it up. I did not get it in "racing" form as it has sat for 6-7 years since it has been raced and a few parts were misplaced during that time. The dragster will be converted to 2.3L EFI power in hopes of being the first person to take a stock 2.3L longblock into the 9 second zone.

Future Plans

First Configuration:
Stock 2.3L EFI with Stinger Performance Header, Holset HE351 Turbo, Stinger Intercooler, Megasquirt EFI, 75 lb/hr Injectors, Stock Head, Stock Cam, 65mm Throttle Body, Stock Lower Intake, Adjustable Boost Valve, Kirban Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator. Either run ~30psi or 20psi and a 100 shot of nitrous for a total of ~400hp on pump gas.

Goal #1: Get all the bugs worked out, get the chassis legal, get my racing license, get back in the 9's

Second Configuration: Built 2.3L with Stinger Performance Header, Holset HE351 Turbo, Stinger Intercooler, Megasquirt EFI, 75 lb/hr Injectors, Ported Head, Big Cam, 65mm Throttle Body, Custom Intake, Adjustable Boost Valve, Kirban Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator. Either run ~35psi or 25psi and a 100 shot of nitrous for a total of ~550hp on C16 race gas.
