This CNC machined billet aluminum zero balance 2.3L Turbo Ford flywheel made by S.P.E.C Clutches and Flywheels. It is SFI certified and made from 6061 T6 aluminum for ultimate strength and minimal weight. The 1/4" thick friction plate is machined from 1050 high carbon alloy, for incredible durability with any friction disc material, even iron. The plates are secured to the body by aerospace fasteners which were chosen for their exceptional strength and corrosion resistance. This is a direct replacement for the stock 2.3 Duratec flywheel. This aluminum flywheel is only 9.5 pounds. That's a significant reduction in rotating mass! Replacement friction plate & fasteners also available.
