Ford 2.3 billet aluminum crankshaft gear for the high revving Mini Stock race engines. Gear is machined from billet aluminum for weight savings and strength. Gears also hard anodized for additional strength and wear resistance.
Gears are recommended for asphalt cars only as using them off-road can cause excessive wear on the gear.
Select from Round Tooth Profile or Square Tooth Profile. Square tooth is stock on 2.3 turbo applications. Early 90's Rangers and Mustangs were round tooth.
Square profile aluminum crank gear is not common so there is a good chance it's not in stock.
Features:
- Crank Gear is now machined from 7075 Aluminum (August 2024 Update) for almost twice the hardness of 6061. All the competitor gears are made from 6061.
- Crank Gear now has a PTFE coating in the anodizing for reduced friction and protect from rubber build up.
