Updates are below........Click here for past updates

June 14,, 2008...We are leaving for Virginia to attend the Fun Ford Weekend (FFW) event in Richmond the coming weekend. We will have Project Bolt-On running in the True Street class. We should have some parts on hand so if you plan to attend and need anything, let us know ahead of time and we'll see if we can fit it in trailer. Otherwise, come by our trailer in the pits and we'll see if we have on hand what you need.

March 9, 2008...Gearing up for a big week. We plan to spend the 15th through 23rd or so working on all of our project cars. We hope to get the ported head back on and a larger turbo, and some suspension work done on the Bolt-On car, an aluminum head/cam package on the SVO, as well as paint at least one, if not two or three cars during the week. We'll also be doing some tuning on a couple of the cars, as well as possibly taking them to the track for the first time of the year.

December 20, 2007...Today I added what could arguably be the most exciting product yet for the 2.3T community. A plug and play tuneable ecu system. You can check it out in the "Suspension, Drivetrain & ECU" section of the webstore.

December 9, 2007...I went to Oklahoma City and picked up my latest purchase. It's a 2000 Ford F250 Super Duty Power Stroke Diesel Crew Cab Short Bed 2wd 6spd pickup. 2.3 to 5.0/SBF bellhousing adapter plates have been added to the site in the "Suspension and Drivetrain" section of the webstore.

October 14, 2007...Wow, somebody is getting fired...what happened to site updates? We've again added a bunch more products to the webstore. Matt Culpepper has moved to Kansas and is going to college. His car (Project Bolt-On) is still in Virginia so no new updates on it. I just uploaded some of our videos to YouTube. Otherwise, I don't know much else at the moment.

May 31, 2007...We are back from World Ford Challenge X and proud to announce that our own Project Bolt-On made it's first ever 10 second 1/4 mile pass and it did it without the aid of nitrous!. See the website for more details.

March 21, 2007...I added a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page today in order to hopefully minimize some of the more repetitive questions I get. Hopefully you guys will find it useful. I also added a few new products last week. The main thing being Delphi Injectors. I'll be adding 1.5" flex couplings and rotated intake tubing for NPR and Volvo intercoolers.

February 7, 2007...OK, I added a few more products to the parts pages today. The long awaited 3" Mustang tailpipes are finally complete, priced, and ready to order. Also, under the "Universal Parts" section, you can now find exhaust flex pipes, 2.5" silicone couplers in black, blue, or red, and t-bolt clamps in various sizes. Other than that I bought an engine for the dragster last month, bought to cams (one for the bolt-on car and one for the dragster), and worked on getting some rotated intake tubing done for NPR intercoolers.

December 22, 2006...As a holiday gift to all of my customers, I've spent about 15 hours completing the new design for the business side of the site. www.stinger-performance.com how has an all new layout that is much more user-friendly. The biggest change is it is now divided into 4 different sections depending on which type of parts you are looking for. I also downsized the pictures to 15-25 percent of their original size which should speed up the pages considerably. Let me know what you think of the new layout.

November 10, 2006...This has got to be a new record for the longest time between updates. I just added over 40 new products to the Stinger Performance page. This includes products from Magnaflow, Flowmaster, Eibach, Tokico, PowerSlot, K&N, and Hawk Performance. I also added an SVO exhaust tip that mimics the stock look. That is something that isn't available anywhere else. I also eliminated the popups on the Stinger Performance Page. Hopefully I can find time to finish adding details for the new products in the coming weeks.  Still on the back burner: 3" tailpipes, Merkur FMIC kit, Ranger turbo kit, CAI for header users, and Ranger exhaust components.

July 21, 2006...I bought a crazy new project yesterday.  It's my new drag racing vehicle.  Stay tuned for details...it's definitely "different" than anything I've owned before...

July 21, 2006...I finally got the 85 SVO out of the weeds and started messing with it again.  Put a new battery, positive battery cable, fuel line, and a few heavy duty clamps on the intercooler tubing. I still need to swap in a new transmission as the current one doesn't go into 1st gear.  It only takes about an hour to swap the trans though so I'll do it one of these days.

June 23, 2006...What should I talk about this month?  Let's see...I finished up the rotated upper intake intercooler tubing so it is now available.  Next up is some Ranger products such as exhaust systems and cold air kits. That will be followed by some Ranger Turbo parts.  After that will be a Merkur XR4Ti FMIC kit.  I've been filling my summer with all sorts of things.  Besides working on shipping parts and developing new ones, I've been doing a little "playing" too.  I've been wakeboarding, riding MotoCross in the K.O.R.R. series (currently second in points), and I've been riding my Quads as well.

May 23, 2006...I just got back from World Ford Challenge 9 (www.worldfordchallenge.com) and it was a blast again this year.  I will be adding some videos of the 2.3T powered cars that were there.  I sponsored an ET-2 competition car that I will be adding pictures of pretty soon as well.  In other news, I've had the Ranger back together for nearly a month now and put about 3k miles on it.  It's a total dog but is reliable so that's good.  I'll be adding a Ranger page soon.

March 26, 2006
...I got the head off the Ranger, what a pain in the ass.  There is so much "crap" under the hood of the Ranger that it took me 3 times as long to pull the head off of it as it does on the SVO.  Looks like the head is cracked and the #2 intake valve is junk.  Not sure of the cause just yet.  I'm planning to port the head before it goes back on.  Might as well try to pick up 10-15hp while it's available.  I may mill the head a bit to raise the compression as well, we'll see.

March 23, 2006...I bought a 97 Ranger SuperCab 2.3L 5spd 2wd today.  It's got a valve out of it but I got it for a steal so I can't complain.  Hopefully I won't get the bug to turbocharge it.  I bought it as my daily driver and to drag my quads and dirtbikes around.  We'll see what happens.

February 5, 2006...Man, you guys probably thought I left you since I haven't said anything on here for over 2 months!  Big update:  The Stinger front mount intercooler kit is now complete and ready to order.  I still haven't made any progress on either of my SVO's, too busy making parts for you guys.  Oh, and I bought an '01 Honda CR125R last week...I'm going to pick it up in Indiana next weekend.
